Troubleshooting
Use this chart to help you so/re daily operadona/ prob/ems. /f there is any prob/em you cannot so/re, contact your JVC

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
The display does not light up. The poxxer cord is not plugged in. Plug the power cord into an AC outlet.
No sound from speakers. Speaker signal cables are not colmected. Check speaker wiring and recolmect if
necessary.
The SPEAKERS ON/OFF button is not Press SPEAKERS ON/OFF button correctly.

An incorrect source is selected. Select the correct source.
Muting is activated. Press MUTING to cancel the mute.

Antennas are not comlected properly. Check connections.
Occasional cracking noise during FM Ignition noise fi'om automobiles. Move the antemm farther ti'om automobile
reception, tratJfic.
"OVERLOAD" starts flashing on the
display.
Speakers are oxerloaded because of high
vohlme.
1. Press POWER on the front panel to turn off
the receiver.
2. Stop the playback source.
3. Turu on the receiver again, and adjust the
volnme.
Speakers are oxerloaded because of short
circuit of speaker terminals.
Press POWER on the front panel, then check
the speaker wiring.
If "OVERLOAD" does not disappear, unplug
the AC power cord, then plug it back again.
If speaker wiring is not short-circuited, contact
your dealer.
