Why does the remote control not work with my JVC RX-DP15B Receiver?

  Multiple issues could be causing this. First, ensure the ZONE 1/ZONE 2 selector is correctly set. Next, check that the TV operation mode selector is correctly set to either “TV” or “CATV/DBS.” Also, verify that the BAND 1/2 selectors on the rear and on the remote control are set to the same band. Weak batteries can also be the culprit, so try replacing them. If RF communication is interrupted, consult your dealer.

Ensure the amplifier connected to the ZONE 2 PREOUT is turned on. Verify that the correct source is selected for Zone 2 and muting is not activated for Zone 2. Also, ensure you've made analog connections for Zone 2.
