  There could be several reasons for this. Check that the speaker signal cables are properly connected. Make sure the Zone 1/2 setting for the speakers connected to the FRONT 2/ZONE 2 SPEAKERS terminals are correctly set to use them as Zone 2 front speakers. Ensure the amplifier connected to the ZONE 2 PREOUT is turned on. Verify that the correct source is selected for Zone 2 and muting is not activated for Zone 2. Also, ensure you've made analog connections for Zone 2.
