MAINTENANCE
The tape travels always in contact with the heads.
Thus, they become dirty with magnetic powder
and dusts. Cleaning the heads is periodically
(approximately every 10 hours of use) required for
proper operation.
Cleaning the heads
Press the STOP/EJECT button to open the cas-
sette holder, and wipe the record/play and erase
heads with a cotton swab with its cotton tip
dipped in alcohol.

Cleaning the pinch roller and capstan
Put the deck into the playback mode by pressing
the PLAY button, and wipe the pinch roller.
Separate the capstan from the pinch roller by
pressing the PAUSE button, and clean the capstan.

Da das Band in standigem Kontakt mit den Tonkopfen
ist, werden sie mit Magnetpulver und Staub verschmutzt.
Zur guten Funktion empfiehlt es sich, die neue alle 10
Betriebsstunden zu reinigen.
Reinigung der Tonkopfe :
Drucken Sie die Auswurftaste (STOP/EJECT) zum Offnen
des Cassettenfachs und reinigen Sie den Aufnahme/Wieder-
gabekopf und den Loschkopf mit dem Reinigungsstabchen,
wobei dessen Baumwollspitze in Alkohol getaucht sein
sollte.

Reinigung der Andruckrolle und des Capstans
Stellen Sie das Gerat auf Wiedergabebetrieb, indem Sie die
PLAY-Taste drucken, und reinigen Sie die Andruckrolle.
Trennen Sie den Capstan von der Andruckrolle, indem Sie |
die PAUSE-Taste drucken, und reinigen Sie den Capstan.
A dirty capstan on pinch roller causes tape
damage or unstable rotation.
Verschmutzte Capstanwelle oder Andruckrolle
verursachen Bandschaden oder instabile Rotation.
Un cabestan ou un galet-presseur sales risquent de
provoquer un endommagement de la bande ou un

La bande défile toujours en contact avec les tétes. Par con-
séquent, de la poussiére et des particules magnétiques se
déposent dessus. Pour obtenir un fonctionnement toujours
correct, il sera nécessaire de nettoyer périodiquement les
tétes (toutes les 10 heures environ d'utilisation).

Enfoncer la touche STOP/EJECT pour ouvrir le com-
partiment cassette et nettoyer la téte d’enregistrement/
reproduction et la téte d’effacement a I’aide du coton-tige
apres I’avoir trempé dans de I‘alcool.

Nettoyage du galet-presseur et du cabestan
Mettre fa platine d’enregistrement en mode de reproduction
en enfongant la touche PLAY, et nettoyer /e ga/et-presseur,
Séparer le cabestan du galet-presseur en pressant la touche
PAUSE, et nettoyer le cabestan.
