● The [MASK EDIT] screen is displayed. (A frame
appears at the mask area)
Memo :
● If the value is set to AOFFB, you will not be able to enter
the [MASK EDIT] screen.
● AOUT OF TILT RANGEB will be displayed and Mask
setting is unavailable when the tilt position is 40° and
above from the horizontal direction.
● When [MODE] item is set to AOFFB, A- - -B will be
displayed and settings is disabled.
● Mask No. 1 to No. 8 are all displayed as (-) at factory
default.
● When an edited mask number is selected, the [MASK
EDIT] screen will move to the position that has been set.

● Save the mask settings and return to the top menu
screen ([MASK MODE] screen).

Select [BRIGHT] at the [PRIVATE MASK] screen
● Move the cursor (Z) to the [BRIGHT] item, shift the
[PAN/TILT] lever to the left and right and set the
ABRIGHTB (mask color).
● The setting value is 0 (black) to 10 (white).
Memo :
● To avoid accidental view of masked out area, always
check after setting, and if necessary enlarge mask area
according to step
4 [Set mask area].
● When Mask is set at the [MASK EDIT] screen, the setting
value of the [PRIVATE MASK] screen becomes AONB.
● After Mask settings are complete, individual ON/OFF
settings can be made for Mask No. 1 to No. 8.
● The private mask function will not function during
initialization after power is switched on.
● AOUT OF TILT RANGEB will be displayed and Mask
setting is unavailable when the tilt position is 40° and
above from the horizontal direction.
● When adjusting the mask position, release the [PAN/TILT]
lever after the tilt angle has reached the horizontal limit,
followed by lowering the lever again to move only the
private mask upwards. Using this operation enables you
to specify a private mask that is beyond the upper limit of
the tilt angle.
