Pet
pump.

speed

verified

measuring
the
time
elapsed

the
motor
starts
turning,
stops,

starts
turning
again.

The
tolerance
for
all
cycle
times
is
+/—
0.025
seconds
when measuring
with
electronic
instruments.
Manual
stopwatch
measurements
are
not
recommended
due
to
lack
of
accuracy
and
consistency.
A
tolerance
of
-/—
0.25
seconds
is
allowed
for-manual
measurement.
Pressing
the
CLR
key
while
simultaneously
turning
the
pump
on
with
the
ON
key
will
result
in
the
pump’s
language
setting
and
software
copyright
and
version
number
to
be
displayed
before
normal
operation
begins.
The
language
display
text
is
shown
in
the
language
selection
portion
of
the
circuit
description
of
the
ambulatory
pump.

Circuit
Problem
Alarm
The
pump
will
alarm
and
display
'8'8'8'8"”
if
an
internal
circuit
failure
has
been
detected.
The
possible
failures
for
this
alarm
are
loss
of
microprocessor
clock,
failure
to
reset
internal
microprocessor
watchdog
timer,
disconnection
of
the
battery
pack,
or
an
open
or
shorted
cell
in
the
battery
pack.
No
Set
Alarm
With
no
feeding
set
installed,
the
pump
will
alarm
and
display
the
“NO
SET”
message
when
START/HOLD
is
pressed
and
the
rate
is
not
zero.
System
Error
Alarm
.
The
pump
will
alarm
and
display
“SYS
ERR”
when
the
pump
detects
rotor
movement
when
the
rotor
is
supposed
to
be
stationary.
A
system
error
will
also
be
generated
if
the
rotor
is
significantly
slowed
or
stopped
during
a
pumping
cycle.
