4.. Pump Motor Cycle Times (with feeding set in place)
A. Filla feeding set with water and connect it to the pump. Do not
place the pump in the backpack/frame at this time.
. Turn the pump ON and set the delivery rate to 10 mi/hr. B
C. Using an oscilloscope or timer/counter, measure the time period from the beginning of one pumping
cycle to the next. The beginning of a pumping cycle is defined by the rising edge of voltage being
applied to the motor. Record the cycle time below and compare to the chart in the Service Manual.
D. Repeat step C at a delivery rate of 400 mi/hr.
E. Repeat steps C and D with the pump in the backpack/frame.
