4. Disconnecting the Drive
SATA:
Windows 98SE / ME
1. Right-Click on the My Computer Icon and click Properties.
2. Click on the Device Manager Tab.
3. Double-Click on Disk Drives.
4. Left-Click to highlight the device labeled STS312002 6AS SCSI Disk and
click on the Remove button.
5. When the Confirm dialog appears, click “OK” to remove the device.
6. It is now safe to unplug the device from your computer.
Windows 2000 / XP
1. Right-Click on the My Computer Icon and click Properties.
2. Click on the Hardware Tab and click on the Device Manager button.
3. Double-Click on Disk Drives.
4. Right-Click on the device labeled STS312002 6AS SCSI Disk and select
Uninstall.
5. When the Confirm dialog appears, click “OK” to remove the device.
6. It is now safe to unplug the device from your computer.
