6.3 Determinaon of Sensor Defects
The resistance value (Ω ohm) between each of the red, blue and
black cables coming from sensor should be read. Total resist-
ance value is directly proporonal with sensor length and 1 cm
is determined as 5 Ω.
Principle measurement of sensor connecons should be made
as follows;
6.4 Things To Be Done Before Service
If no soluon is reached and if defect determinaon is made as
per defect determinaon;
If these measurement values can not be reached you can go to
6.4
For example if sensor length is 2 meters and the fullness rao of
depot is 75% measurements should be made as follows;
(Red & Blue Value) + (Black & Blue Value) =(Red & Black
Ω Value)
Red & Black
Black & Blue
Red & Blue
: Should be measured as 1 KΩ (± 5%),
: 750 Ω
(Total resistance of 1 kΩ x 75% fullness rao)
: 250 Ω
(Total resistance of 1 kΩ x 75% free space)
