The multisys D2-MSMT-1 serially connects the Modbus (Modbus RTU) to the
computer via an Ethernet connection (Modbus TCP).
On the Modbus RTU side, it acts as master, and on the Ethernet side, it acts as
slave. The two interfaces (RS-485 Modbus serial and Ethernet on the network
side) are galvanically separated.
If necessary, the RS-485 interface on the Modbus side can be terminated using
four DIP switches (terminating resistors tted into multisys).
The D2-MSMT-1 is equipped with a "power" LED for supply voltage monitoring.
It is equipped with its own power supply (85 to 265 V AC/DC; 2 VA) and is suit-
able for wall mounting on a 7.5 mm DIN rail in accordance with DIN EN50022
(for distribution board mounting).
