How to fix KEEWAY HURRICANE engine that won't start?
- LLaura ShortAug 23, 2025
If your KEEWAY Scooter's engine is not starting or is hard to start, several issues could be the cause. Low compression due to worn cylinder or piston rings, stiff piston ring, gas leaks, or a damaged reed valve could be the reason; consider replacing the affected parts. A damaged, dirty, or wet spark plug, or a defective CDI & ignition coil unit or stator coil might also be at fault; in these cases, clean and dry the spark plug, or replace the defective components. Finally, check for fuel delivery problems such as a clogged fuel tank cap, a clogged or defective fuel cock, a defective carburetor float valve, or a clogged fuel hose; clean or replace these parts as necessary.
