Section 12: Instrument Control Library Series 2600 System SourceMeter® Instruments Reference Manual
smuX.measure.rel.enableY
X = SMU channel (a or b)
Y = SMU measure function (v, i, r or p)
where: v = voltage, i = current, r = resistance, p = power
Attribute Relative measurement control (on/off).
Usage rel = smuX.measure.rel.enableY -- Reads relative state.
smuX.measure.rel.enableY = rel -- Writes relative state.
Set rel to one of the following values:
0 or smuX.REL_OFF Disables relative measurements.
1 or smuX.REL_ON Enables relative measurements.
Remarks When relative measurements are enabled, all subsequent measured readings will
be offset by the specified relative offset value (see
smuX.measure.rel.levelY).
Specifically, each returned measured relative reading will be the result of the
following calculation:
Relative reading = Actual measured reading – Relative offset value
Details See “Rel” in Section 6.
Also see smuX.measure.rel.levelY
Example Enables relative voltage measurements for SMU A:
smua.measure.rel.enablev = smua.REL_ON
smuX.measure.rel.levelY
X = SMU channel (a or b)
Y = SMU measure function (v, i, r or p)where:
v = voltage, i = current, r = resistance, p = power
Attribute Offset value for relative measurements.
Usage relval = smuX.measure.rel.levelY -- Reads relative offset level.
smuX.measure.rel.levelY = relval -- Writes relative offset level.
relval -- Relative offset value.
Remarks When relative measurements are enabled (see smuX.measure.rel.enableY), all
subsequent measured readings will be offset by the specified relative offset value.
Specifically, each returned measured relative reading will be the result of the
following calculation:
Relative reading = Actual measured reading – Relative offset value
Details See “Rel” in Section 6.
Also see smuX.measure.rel.enableY
Example Performs a voltage measurement and uses it as the relative offset value:
smua.measure.rel.levelv = smua.measure.v()
