Cleaning the Door
Never us e a spray cl eane r to clean the door panel for it could dam age the door lock and electrical components. It is not allowed
to use the abrasive agent or some paper towe l becauseof the ris k of sc ra tc hing or l eav ing spots on t he s tainl es s steel s urfa ce.
WARNING!
To clean the edge around the door, you should use only a soft warm , da mp ra g . To pre ve nt
penetration of water into the door lock and electrical components, do not use a spr ay c le aner
of any kind.
Also, never use abrasive cle ane rs or scour ing pads on the outer surfaces bec au se they will
scratch the fini sh. Some paper s towels can also scra tch or leav e marks on the sur face.
Cleaning the Drain Pump
Som ethi ng w il l occ asi onal ly m ove i nto th e fi lte rs a nd the dr ai n pum p. If this oc cur s, the dra in
pumps employed in your dishwashers are designed to automatically reverse, ejecting the
item bac k into the sump area or dow n the drain. If you have to remov e an obsta cl e from t he
drain pump, before you remove the filters, you should turn off the powe r; Then remove th e
small bla ck insert from the sumparea. (You might want to remove any standing water firs t).
Scoop out the item that is probably in the sump area and causes the obstruction. Remember
to re plac e the bla ck insert befor e you put the fil te rs back in.
How to Keep Your Dishwasher in Shape
After Every Wash
After every wash, turn off the water supply to the
appliance and leave the door slightly ajar so that
moi stu r e and od ors are not tr ap ped ins ide .
Remove the Plug
Before cle aning or performing maintenance, alw ays
re mov e the plug from the soc ket. Do not r un ris ks.
No Solvents or Abrasive Cleaning
To clean the exterior and rubber parts of the dishwasher,
do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning products.
Rathe r, use onl y a cl oth a nd war m s oa py w ater .
To remove spots or stains from the surface of the
inte ri or, us e a cloth dam pened with wate r a nd a l ittle
white vinega r, or a cleaning product made speci fic ally
for dishwashers.
Wh en You Go on Holiday
When you go on holiday, it is recommened that you run a
wa sh cy cl e wi th the dishw as her e mpty a nd the n r em ove
the plug from the soc ke t, turn off the water supply and
leave the door of the appl ia nce slightl y ajar. This will hel p
the seals last longer and prevent odors from forming
wi thin the appl ia nce.
Moving the Appliance
If the appl ianc e mus t be mov ed, try to ke ep it in the vertica l
position.If absolutely necessary, it can be positioned on
its back .
Seals
One of the fac tors tha t c aus e od ors to form in the
dishwasher is food that remains trapped in the seals.
Periodic cleaning with a damp sponge will prevent this
from occurring.

The power-supply receptacle for the appliance shall be
ins tal led i n a cabi net or on a wa ll a dja ce nt to the
undercounter space in which the appliance is to be
installed.
There shall be an opening through the partition between
the compar tme nts spec ifi ed in 1 that is large enough for
the atta chm ent plug to pass through. The longest
dim ension of the opening shall not be more than 38mm.
The edges of the opening specified in 2 shall, if the
partition is wood, be smooth and rounded, or, if the
partition is metal , be covered with an edge protector
provided for this purpose by the manufacturer; and
Care shal l be exer ci se d, when the appliance is insta lle d or
removed, to reduce the likelihood of damage to the
power-supply cord.
