16 REMOTE QUICK START
CONNECTING EXPRESSION PEDALS AND
EXTERNAL SWITCHES
The Remote oers four TRS-sockets named “PEDAL 3” to “Pedal 6” to connect expression pedals. Their functions
can be assigned in the System Settings of the PROFILER, as described in the “Expression Pedals and Foot Switches”
chapter of the Main Manual and the “Expression Pedals” video tutorial.
It is very common to combine pedal functions and control the PROFILER with either two or even just one expression
pedal.
If you should happen to require more switches, you can connect additional analog switches - for example the
PROFILER Switch 2 Way - and assign switching functions globally in System Settings. The “Expression Pedals and
Foot Switches” chapter of the Main Manual outlines other options in great detail.
The technical requirements are the same as when connecting expression pedals, or switches, directly to the PEDAL 1
and 2 sockets on the rear side of the PROFILER. Please refer to the “Expression Pedals and Foot Switches” chapter in
the Main Manual and the “Expression Pedal and Switcher Basics” video tutorial.
