Remember that soft
fabrics may need
to be stabilized a little .

This is especially true when
buttonholing,
monogramming, or design sewing as the
stitches are so close
together
. A backing of tissue paper or interfacing
may assist you in your
sewing .

The paper may be torn
away and the interfacing cut away after
sewing . Check
your fabric by making samples of the designs, monograms,
or buttonholes
on a scrap of fabric before sewing on your
garment .
