First, small items might be caught in the pump or between the basket and tub, slowing drainage; try using a cycle with a low spin speed. Tightly packed or unbalanced loads can also prevent proper spinning; redistribute the wet load evenly and select the Drain & Spin cycle to remove excess water. Excess detergent can also cause issues; always measure detergent according to directions, and use Rinse/Spin without adding detergent to remove extra suds.
