Cycle Options
Wrinkle _:_i;i_:i__ 1 [ Damp DryGuard I Signa' ]
Control Lock
To add options, press the corresponding options buttons to
illuminate the selections desired. To delete options, press
the options buttons again and the indicator lights will turn
off. Some options require a "Press & Hold" effort to acti-
vate or deactivate the secondary function.
Not aii options are available on every model. To protect
your fabrics, not ali options are available with every cycle.
If an option is not appropriate for the cycle, the indicator
will not light.
NOTE
To change the Options after the cycle starts, press
PAUSE, adjust the setting and press START to resume the
cycle.
Wrinkle Guard
Select Wrinkle Guard if the dried load might not be
removed promptly at the end of the cycle. The dry
load will continue tumbling without heat to help reduce
wrinkling. When Chime is selected, a beep will be heard
periodically. The load may be removed any time during
Wrinkle Guard.
Add Steam
The Add Steam option injects steam into the clothing
prior to cool down to reduce wrinkling.
NOTE ..........
* Steam may not necessarily be visible inside drum
during the Add Steam option.
* It is not recommended to use fabric softener sheets
with Steam Cycles or Options as it may cause staining
on clothes.
Damp Dry Signal
For loads that contain some items you plan to hang dry,
fiat dry or iron, add the Damp Dry Signal option to any
Auto Dry cycle. If the Chime is turned up, a chime will
sound when the load has reached the Damp Dry dryness
level to remind you to remove those items to hang dry,
dry fiat or iron dry. Open the door, remove those items,
close the door and press the START button to continue
drying the remaining items.
Soft Heat
Select the Soft Heat option to protect a load from exces-
sive heat which can lead to shrinking and over-drying.
The drying temperature will be gradually reduced as the
load dries.
Air Fluff
This setting (no heat) should only be used with a Timed
Dry cycle to dry items containing feathers, down, foam
rubber, plastics or rubber-like materials; to refresh
clothing, stuffed animal, pillows or blankets; and to dust
draperies.
Drum Light
The drum light wiii come on whenever the door is
opened to illuminate the drum during loading and
unloading. Closing the door turns off the light. The drum
light will automatically turn off if the door is left open
more than 3 minutes.
You can activate the drum light during a cycle by press-
ing the Drum Light button. The light will stay on during
the cycle for 3 minutes. To turn it off, press the button
again.
Control Lock (Press & Hold)
To lock the controls between or during cycles, press and
hold the Add Steam button for S seconds. _ (LOCI()
will be displayed if you attempt to wake up a "between
cycle" locked unit and _ (LOCI() will alternate with
cycle time remaining in a "during cycle" locked unit.
Repeat to unlock the controls when you are ready to op-
erate the dryer. Use this feature to reduce the likelihood
of accidental operation by children.
