Draw about
2"
of thread through the
eye
of the needle with which to commence sew-
ing. Hold
needle thread in your left hand,
turn balance wheel
towards you until needle
moves
up and down, and up again
to its
highest
point, catchiijg the bobbin
thread,
which will be brought up that way
through
the hole in
the thread plate.
TO REGULATE
THE PRESSURE
For darning and
embroidering,
release the
pressure
by pressing down
the automatic
darning
lever
