Why won't my Kenmore D02 M90230 burner light with the ignitor?

If the Kenmore Grill burner isn't lighting with the ignitor, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the burner tubes are free from obstructions like spider webs. If there's no gas flow, check if the LP cylinder is empty, and refer to troubleshooting for sudden drops in gas flow. Also, make sure the coupling nut and LP cylinder valve are fully connected; if not, turn off the knobs, disconnect, reconnect, and try again. A vapor lock could also be the issue; try tightening the coupling nut an additional half to three-quarters turn by hand. The electrode tip should point toward the gas port opening on the burner, about 1/8” to 1/4” away; adjust if needed. Clean any cooking residue from the wire or electrode with rubbing alcohol.
