  If the STANDBY indicator blinks and no sound is output from your Kenwood Amplifier, it could be due to a couple of reasons: * **Short-circuited speaker cords:** Turn the power OFF, fix the short-circuit, and then turn the power back ON. * **Overheating:** The internal temperature may have risen, activating the protection circuitry. Turn the power OFF and allow the unit to cool down. Once cooled, turn it back ON. Also, review the installation to ensure proper ventilation, referring to the “Notes on heat generation”.
