Press and hold the POWER key for a half second to power on or off the transceiver.
Adjust volume using UP/Down keys. Speaker sounds on correct signal reception.
Press PTT key to transmit. Speak clearly 2-3 inches from mic. TX icon appears on LCD.
Press CALL key to transmit an audible Call Tone for 2 seconds.
Blink channel digits using MODE key, adjust with UP/DOWN, confirm with MODE/PTT/CALL.
Press LAMP key to illuminate the LCD. Lamp goes out after 5 seconds.
Automatically activates after 3 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.
