IMPORTANT NOTE:
• Frozenfoods,whenthawed,shouldbecookedjustlikefreshfoods.Iftheyarenotcookedafterbeing
thawedtheymustNEVERbere-frozen.
• Thetasteofsomespicesfoundincookeddishes(anise,basilica,watercress,vinegar,assortedspices,
ginger,garlic,onion,mustard,thyme,marjoram,blackpepper,etc.)changesandtheyassumeastrong
tastewhentheyarestoredforalongperiod.Therefore,thefrozenfoodshouldbeaddedlittleamount
ofspicesorthedesiredspiceshouldbeaddedafterthefoodhasbeenthawed.
• Thestorageperiodoffoodisdependentontheoilused.Thesuitableoilsaremargarine,calffat,olive
oilandbutterandtheunsuitableoilsarepeanutoilandpigfat.
• Thefoodinliquidformshouldbefrozeninplasticcupsandtheotherfoodshouldbefrozeninplastic
foliosorbags.
Freezer compartment
• Thefreezercompartmentisusedforfreezingfreshfoodandforstoringfrozenfoodfortheperiodof
timeindicatedonpackaging,andformakingicecubes.
• Whenfreezingfreshfood,wrapandsealthefoodproperly;thepackagingshouldbeairtightand
shouldn’tleak.Specialfreezerbags,aluminumfoil(heavygrade,ifindoubtdoublewrap),polythene
bagsandplasticcontainersareideal.
