Why is my Kernau KFSB 17191 NF X Refrigerator compressor running for a long time?
    • S
      Sydney ChavezAug 20, 2025
Your Kernau Refrigerator's compressor might run for extended periods due to several reasons. It's normal for refrigerators to operate longer in the summer when the ambient temperature is higher. Avoid putting too much food in the refrigerator at once or placing warm foods inside. Frequent opening of the refrigerator door or a thick frost layer requiring defrosting can also cause this.

    • C
      Connor WeaverAug 30, 2025
The Kernau Refrigerator enclosure may emit heat during operation, especially in summer, due to the radiation of the condenser, which is normal. Condensation on the exterior surface and door seals when the ambient humidity is high is also normal; wipe it away with a dry towel.

What are airflow sounds, buzz, and clatter in my Kernau KFSB 17191 NF X Refrigerator?
    • S
      Shelia SmithSep 1, 2025
Airflow sounds, buzz, and clatter in your Kernau Refrigerator are normal. Refrigerants circulating in the lines produce eruption of sound and grunts, which does not affect cooling. Buzz is generated by the compressor when starting or stopping. The solenoid valve or electric switch valve will clatter, which is also normal.
