Make sure that the ventilation holes (9) are free from sus-
pended matter and solids, clean if necessary.
Remove and clean the backflow preventer (1). To do so,
unscrew screws (10) and (11) push out the backflow pre-
venter (1) sidewards.
Remount the backflow preventer (1). Make sure that the
backwash device (2) is in a vertical position as shown.
Close the cover of the maintenance opening (5).
Carry out a functional check (see "Functional check",
page 31).
