RS-232 and VISCA Control
RS-232 and VISCA Command Protocol
Baud Rate = 9600 bits per second
Data Bits = 8
Stop Bits = 1
Parity = None
Flow Control = None
Commands should be sent in all caps.
Underscore ("_") character at end of each RS-232 command must be included
Carriage return and line feed is required at the end of each string.
Command Notes
For VISCA control, the first byte of each command is 8x, where x is the address of the camera as
assigned by the dip switch position
For RS-232 commands, the character y is the address of the camera, as assigned by the dip switch
position
Some commands contain parameter values, as indicated by p, p1, p2
