Collision Warning
Collision Warning will alert the driver with the Forward Safety warning light ( ),
blinking warning message, an audible warning and steering wheel vibration.
Warning message: Collision warning
Collision warning will be activated in the following conditions:
• Your driving speed: Approximately 10-30 km/h (6-19 mph)
• Oncoming vehicle speed: Approximately 30-70 km/h (19-44 mph)
• Powered two-wheeler and cyclist speed: Approximately 15-70 km/h (9-44 mph)
Emergency Braking
Emergency braking will alert the driver with the Forward Safety warning light ( ),
blinking a warning message, an audible warning and steering wheel vibration. The
brake assist will be activated and to help avoid a collision with an oncoming vehicle.
Warning message: Emergency braking
Emergency braking will be activated in the following conditions.
• Your driving speed: 10~30 km/h (6~19 mph)
• Oncoming vehicle speed: Approximately 30-70 km/h (19-44 mph)
• Powered two-wheeler and cyclist speed: Approximately 15-70 km/h (9-44 mph)
Stopping vehicle and ending brake control
When the vehicle is stopped due to emergency braking, the warning message will ap
pear on the cluster.
• Warning message: Drive carefully
For your safety, the driver should depress the brake pedal immediately and check the
surroundings.
• Brake control will end after the vehicle is stopped by emergency braking for ap
proximately 2 seconds.
NOTE
The warning sound during collision warning and emergency braking can be switched
off by pressing the hazard warning light.
