Reverse Parking Distance Warning (PDW)*

Reverse PDW is a supplemental system that is designed to assist the driver by
chiming if an object is detected within the sensing area to the rear and side of the
vehicle when backing up. When the ignition is ON, the system is activated, while the
vehicle is in Reverse.
REMINDERS:
• If the vehicle is moving at speeds over 3 mph, the system may not activate correctly
• When more than two objects are sensed at the same time, the closest one will be recognized first
Check surroundings for your safety.
Rear View Monitor (RVM)

Rear View Monitor is a supplemental system that displays
the view behind the vehicle through the audio head unit
screens while the vehicle is in Reverse.
Rear View Monitor activates when the:
1. Engine is ON
2. Gear Shift Lever is in the R (Reverse) position
REMINDERS:
• Always drive carefully and use caution when backing up
• Through normal use and after inclement weather or washing, the rear camera
may become dirty. Use a clean, microfiber cloth to remove any dirt, debris or
spots that may have accumulated on the lens
• While Rear View Monitor is active the volume will be lowered on all audio modes
Rear View Monitor is not a substitute for proper and safe backing-up procedures.
Rear View Monitor may not display every object behind the vehicle.
