SMART, NORMAL and SPORT drive modes

SMART Mode – When SMART mode is activated, the system automatically
selects the drive mode best suited to the current driving style (economic,
average, aggressive). A SMART indicator will illuminate on the instrument
cluster. The color of the SMART indicator (green, blue, red) depends
on the current driving style. To deactivate, press the DRIVE MODE button

again to change the selection to another setting.
NORMAL Mode – The system’s default mode is NORMAL mode and is not
displayed on the instrument cluster nor the audio system’s screen.
SPORT Mode – A red SPORT indicator will illuminate on the instrument cluster.

• In SPORT mode, when engine is turned off, the system will default to NORMAL mode
and SPORT mode will need to be selected again when the vehicle restarts.
• To help improve your fuel economy:
– Drive at a moderate speed, accelerating smoothly and at a moderate rate
– Keep tires inflated to the recommended pressure
– Be sure the wheels are properly aligned
