Enabling PLU Fields for Programming
You may not have a need for all of the 37 fields that are available in a PLU.
To make data entry in the PLU programming screen more efficient hide the unneeded fields.
Lets begin by pressing the Prog key.
Select number 3 to go to the 3rd level.
Press the right arrow key to go to the PLU F-step menu.
You will see P32 in the TARE screen.
If it’s not the case press the SALE button and restart.
Press Accu/Confirm to enter the field selection mode.
This allows you to hide or show each individual field by choosing 0 to show or 1 to hide.
For a description of all the fields available, please refer to your manual.
Here is a quick overview of the available fields.
Once you are done press Amend.
Press Sale to return to normal mode.
PLU Price Change
Press on the corresponding PLU.
Enter the new price.
Press the @ Price key until the scale beeps.
The price is saved and when you call up the PLU again, you see the updated price.
Set Specs
To set the specs you press Prog and F-Prog simultaneously.
This brings you to the parameter settings. You should see F12 in the TARE screen.
If not press the SALE button and restart.
Use the right and left arrow keys to scroll from one parameter to the next or press the X key
and enter the specification number you wish to edit.
Press Accu/Confirm to select desired specification.
