The Kinderkraft I-BOOST i-Size is a car seat designed for transporting children, adhering to the safety requirements of UN/ECE Regulation No. 129 (UN/ECE R129/03). This user guide provides comprehensive instructions for its installation, usage, and maintenance, ensuring the proper safety of the child.
Function Description
The I-BOOST i-Size car seat serves as a child restraint system for children with a height between 135-150 cm, typically up to approximately 12 years of age. It is designed to be used with the vehicle's three-point car seat belts for adults, providing a secure and comfortable seating solution for older children who are transitioning out of full harness car seats. The car seat can be installed using either the ISOFIX connectors in conjunction with the three-point car seat belt or solely with the three-point car seat belt, offering flexibility depending on the vehicle's capabilities and user preference. Its primary function is to position the child correctly to allow the adult seat belt to fit safely across their body, specifically across the pelvis and shoulder, to ensure optimum effect in the event of an accident.
