Intended use
This petrol lawnmower FPLMP129 is designated with a power output of 1.9 kW.
1. The product is intended for mowing grass in domestic gardens only. It must not be
used to mow unusually high, dry or wet grass (e.g. pasture grass), for shredding
leaves or mulching.
2. For safety reasons it is essential to read the entire instruction manual before the rst
operation and to observe all the instructions therein.
3. This product is intended for private domestic use only, not for any commercial use.
It must not be used for any purposes other than those described.
Brake clutch
1. Pull the brake clutch (1) towards the upper handle bar (2) and hold it in position
when starting the engine and during operation (Fig. 9).
2. Release the brake clutch (1) to stop the engine.

Recoil starter
The recoil starter handle (22) is positioned at the top of the engine.
1. Pull the brake clutch (1) towards the upper handle bar (2) and hold it in position (Fig. 9).
2. Pull the recoil starter handle (22) lightly until you feel resistance then pull it rapidly.
Do it repeatedly until the engine starts (Fig. 10).
3. During operation rest the recoil starter handle (22) onto the hook (21) located on the
right-hand side of the upper handle bar (2) (Fig. 11).
