The Kingwo MT200 is a smart GPS tracker designed for various tracking and monitoring applications. It offers a comprehensive set of features for accurate positioning, driving behavior analysis, and alarm functions, making it suitable for fleet management, personal vehicle tracking, and other IoT scenarios.
Function Description
The MT200 primarily functions as a GPS tracker, providing real-time location data and historical tracking. It supports multiple positioning technologies including GPS, AGPS, and LBS, ensuring accurate positioning even in challenging environments. The device is equipped with a built-in high-sensitive G-sensor accelerometer, which enables advanced features like driving behavior monitoring, including speeding, hard acceleration, hard deceleration, and cornering alarm.
Key functions include:
- Data Upload: The device can be configured to upload data packets to a backend server at a certain time interval, with a default setting of upload by time.
- History Data Storage: When the device enters a GPS blind area, it stores GPS data for up to 15 seconds as default. Maximum 1000 pieces of data can be stored, configurable from 5 to 7200 seconds.
- Cornering Compensation: Detects the vehicle's driving direction and uploads a packet extra to make the driving trace more accurate, especially during turns.
- LBS (Location Based Service) Support: If GPS is unavailable, the device automatically switches to LBS mode, acquiring LBS station IDs and interpreting the specific location on the map.
- AGPS (Assisted GPS) Support: Supports AGPS for faster positioning and improved accuracy.
- Alarm Functions: A wide range of alarms are supported, including:
- Low Voltage Alarm: Notifies when the battery voltage is too low (0-11V or 19-22V).
- Over Speed Alarm: Triggers when the vehicle speed exceeds a preset value.
- Driving Behavior Alarm: Detects speeding, hard deceleration, hard acceleration, and cornering.
- Vibration Alarm: Alerts after 10 minutes of ignition off (Arm range 1-20 minutes) or generates vibration (Delay range 1-10 minutes) without ACC connected.
- Turn Over Alarm: Reports if the device turns over.
- Towing Alarm: An alarm is generated if the device is set to a displacement of more than 100 meters (message mode prompt), and the alarm information is reported when the displacement radius exceeds 100 meters when the device is turned off.
- Wire Cut Off Alarm: Connects to a power off relay for power and fuel cut off function in case a car stolen happens.
- GPS Error Alarm: Reports if the GPS module is working abnormally.
- Device Removal Alarm: Utilizes a built-in light sensor to detect if the device is removed from its installation location.
- Intelligent Functions:
- Power Save: The device has a built-in high-sensitivity G-sensor accelerometer that monitors the vehicle for motion in real time. When no motion is detected for a long time, the device automatically enters the power saving state, turning off the GPS/BD module and GSM enters the heartbeat return mode.
- Self-Diagnosis: Performs self-diagnosis and reports error messages to the backend if there is malfunction regarding GPS and GSM.
- Static Drift Suppression: A built-in high-sensitivity G-sensor accelerometer and a complete positioning data-filtering algorithm filter out most of the static drift data to ensure the accuracy of GPS data.
- Mileage Calculation: Calculates mileage based on speed from GPS and vehicle positioning data.
- Remote Configuration: Allows remote setting of device parameters including IP, center number, and various monitoring parameters via the backend or SMS.
- Remote Upgrade (OTA): Supports remote firmware upgrades via GPRS.
- Dual IP or Domain: Supports dual IP connection between the primary server and the standby server.
- GT800 and JT808 Protocol: Compatible with GT800 protocol and JT808 protocol, with protocol switch by SMS or Bluetooth setting.
- Bluetooth Function: Built-in Bluetooth for configuration and sensors connecting (e.g., Bluetooth fuel sensor).
