9. Make sure that the transmission
uid does not leak through the seal.
5. Apply a thin lm of clean oil onto
the O-ring of a new lter.
6. Tighten the filter firmly until it
contacts the mounting surface.
Tighten the lter a half turn further
by hand.
7. Run the engine for a few minutes
and then stop it after installing a
new lter.
8. Check the uid level and add uid
to the specied level.

Be sure to stop the engine
before changing the fluid or
replacing the lter.
Cool down the uid sufcient-
ly. You can get burnt by hot
uid.

To prevent serious damage to
the hydraulic system, use only
a KIOTI genuine lter.
Do not operate the tractor im-
mediately after changing the
transmission fluid. Run the
engine at medium speed for a
few minutes to prevent dam-
age to the transmission.

IMPORTANT
3. To drain the used uid, place the oil
pan under the transmission case
and turn the drain plug counterclock-
wise to drain the uid completely.
If the uid does not ow out freely,
unscrew the plug on the side of the
hydraulic cylinder on the left of the
top link bracket to facilitate drain-
age. (Ref to next page)
4. Unscrew the fluid filter from the
rear right section on the tractor us-
ing a lter wrench.
