Why is my Kioti Tractor engine difficult to start?
- AAngela DoyleAug 11, 2025
Several factors can make your Kioti Tractor engine hard to start. It could be due to thick fuel that doesn't flow, potentially from water, dirt, or other impurities in the fuel. Check the fuel tank and fuel filter, and replace the filter if needed. Air or water mixed in the fuel system can also be a cause; in this case, check for loosened fuel cap nuts and loosen the air vent screw over the fuel filter and fuel injection pump to eliminate air. Thick carbon deposits on the injection nozzle orifice, often caused by water or dirt in the fuel, can also be the reason. Clean the nozzle injection piece carefully, and if it's not working correctly, install a new nozzle. In cold weather, thick engine oil can slow the engine crank; change the oil grade according to the temperature.
