(model 5KSMFGA) are compatible with the parts and accessories of the KitchenAid Metal
Food Grinder Attachment or previous KitchenAid Food Grinder Attachment (models
5KSMMGA, 5FGA, 5SSA, 5FVSP, 5FVSFGA, 5FPPA, 5KSMFPPA, 5GSSA, 5KSMGSSA,
5KN12AP) and vice versa.

To strain fruits and vegetables:
• Cut into pieces that will fit into hopper.
• Remove tough, thick skin or rind, such as oranges.
• Remove all large pits from fruits and vegetables such as peaches.
• Remove hulls or stems, such as strawberries or grapes.
• Cook all tough or firm fruits and vegetables before straining.
NOTE: To avoid damage to the Fruit/Vegetable Strainer attachment and/or the Stand
Mixer, Labruscan or slip-skin type grapes such as Concord, Catawba, and Ontario
grapes should not be processed in the Fruit/Vegetable Strainer. Only Vinifera family
grapes such as Tokay and Thompson Seedless may be processed.
