2 ForSafeInstallation
(1) Keep off the strainer lifting area to prevent personal injury caused by
unsecuredstrainer.
(1) Takecarenottodamagethreadsorflangesurfaceofstrainersandflanges.
(2) DONOTdisassemblestrainersduringinstallation.
(3) Strainersshouldbemountedinaccordancewitharrowsindicatedonthevalve
body.Itisnotrecommendedtoinstallstrainersintheverticalpipelinewiththe
floworientedupward.Thescreenwillnotproperlyworkinthisposition.
(4) Useanappropriatesealtapeinthreadedareaswiththetemperatureandtype
ofservicetakenintoconsideration.
(5) DONOTapplyapipewrenchtostrainers.Useanappropriatetoolsuchasa
spanner.
(6) When installing strainers, apply a spanner to the strainer end which was
screwedintothepipeend.
(7) DONOTapplyexcessivetorquetoscrewastrainerintothepipesothatthe
pipeendwillnotdamagethestrainerthreads.
(8) Takecarenottocatchfingersorhandsduringinstallation.
(9) TightenthreadedPVCStrainersintothepipestightenoughnottocauseleak.
DONOToverlytightenthestrainer,whichmaydamagethestrainerends.
(10)UseplasticvalvesocketsinthepipeendswheninstallingPVCStrainerstothe
pipes.MetalthreadsmaydamagePVCStrainers.
