3. Checkthefollowingitemsbeforetheinstallationofstrainers.

3.1The service conditions should be within the range of the relevant strainer
specification.

3.2Strainerthreadsshouldcorrespondwithpipethreads.

3.3Nodamageshouldbefoundonbothstrainerandpipethreads.

3.4Make sure that pipe threads comply with the relevant standards by using thread
gauges.

3.5Beforeinstallationof strainers, theconnectingpipesshouldbecleanedtoremove
cuttingoil,cuttingsorotherforeignobjects.

3.6Do not give extraordinary shock to strainers by throwing, dropping, dragging or
topplingthemdown.

3.7Removeendcoversfromstrainersjustbeforeinstallation.

3.8Checkallthreadedareasafterinstallationandretightenthem,ifneeded.


