Filtering System

Coarselter(C)
Larger items, such as pieces of bone
or glass, that could block the drain are
trappedinthecoarselter.Toremovethe
itemscaughtbythelter,gentlysqueeze
thetaponthetopofthislterandliftout.
Finelter(B):
Thislterholdssoilandfoodresiduein
the sump area and prevents it from being
deposited on the dishes during wash
cycle.
Mainlter(A):
Food and soil particles trapped by this
lterarepulverizedbyaspecialjeton
the spray arm and washed down to
drain.
Filter assembly
Thelterefcientlyremovesfoodparticlesfromthewashwater,allowingittobe
recycledduringthecycle.Forbestperformanceandresults,thelterassemblymustbe
regularly cleaned. For this reason, it is a good idea to remove the larger food particles
trappinginthelteraftereachwashcyclebyrinsingthelterandcupunderrunning
water.Toremovethelterassembly,pullonthecuphandleintheupwarddirection.
Important:Thedishwashermustneverbeusedwithoutthelters.Improper
replacementoftheltermayreducetheperformanceleveloftheapplianceand
damage dishes and utensils.
1. Turnthecoarselter(C)counterclockwiseandremoveit.
2. Disassembletheltersystem.
3. Aftercleaningputtheltersbackintheshownorder.
