BEFORE FIRST USE
The following things should be checked before starting the dishwasher.
• Thedishwasherislevelandxedproperly.
• The inlet valve is open.
• The wires are tightly connected.
• The power is switched on.
• The inlet and drain hoses are knotted.
• All packing materials and printings should be taken out from the dishwasher.
Loading the Salt into the Softener
• Onlyusesaltspecicallydesignedforuseindishwashers!Allothertypesofsaltnot
specicallydesignedforuseinadishwasher,especiallytablesalt,willdamage
the water softener. in case of damages caused by the use of unsuitable salt the
manufacturer does not give any warranty nor is liable for any caused damages.
• Onlyllwithsaltjustbeforestartingoneofthecompletewashingprogrammes.This
will prevent any grains of salt or salty water, which may have been split, remaining
of the bottom of the machine for any period of time, which may cause corrosion.
Therinsingsaltchamberislocatedunderthebasketandislledasfollows:
• Remove the basket and then unscrew and remove the cap from the salt container.
• Beforerstwash,add1lt.ofwaterinthesaltcontainerofyourmachine.
• Placetheendofthefunnel(supplied)intotheholeandintroduceabout1kgofsalt.
• Afterllingthecontainer,screwthecaptightlybackclockwise.
• Usually,thesaltwarninglightwillbeceasetobeilluminatedwithin2-6daysafter
thesaltcontainerhasbeenlledwithsalt.
• Immediatelyafterllingthesaltintothesaltcontainer,awashingprogramme
shouldbestartedOtherwiseltersystem,pumporotherimportantpartsofthe
machine may be damaged by salty water. It is out of warranty.
