LOADING THE DISHWASHER CORRECTLY
We recommend that you only use dishes that are suitable for dishwashers.
For heat-sensitive dishes, select the programme with the lowest temperature.
To prevent damage, do not remove glasses and cutlery from the dishwasher
immediately after the programme ends.
Unsuitable crockery and cutlery
Unsuitable crockery/ cutlery Conditionally suitable crockery/
cutlery
Cutlery with wooden, horn or
mother-of-pearl handles
Heat-resistant plastic tableware
Older cutlery with glued parts that
are not heat resistant
Jacketed cutlery or crockery
Pewter and copper objects
Crystal glass
Items made of non-stainless steel
Wooden dishes
Items made of synthetic bres
Some types of glass can become
dull after several washes in the
dishwasher.
Silver and aluminium parts tend to
discolour when washed.
Glazed dishes may fade if cleaned
regularly in the dishwasher.
What you should bear in mind when loading
Scrape large amounts of food scraps o the plate. Soak burnt-on residue in
pans or pots before cleaning in the dishwasher. It is not necessary to rinse the
dishes under running water before cleaning them in the dishwasher.
Place cups, glasses, pots and pans in the dishwasher with the inside facing
down.
Curved items, or items with indentations, should be placed in the dishwasher
at an angle to allow the water to drain away.
Place the objects inside the appliance in such a way that they cannot fall over.
Make sure that no objects are sticking out of the baskets' underside, as these
could interfere with the spray arm's function.
Always place hollow vessels such as cups, glasses, pans, etc. in the dishwasher
with the opening facing downwards so that no water can collect in them.
Do not wash small items in the dishwasher as they could easily fall out of the
basket.
Make sure that dishes and cutlery do not overlap or cover each other.
To avoid glass breakage, glasses must not touch each other.
For best results, do not overload the dishwasher.
CAUTION
Risk of burns! The dishes become hot during cleaning in the
dishwasher! Wait at least 15 minutes after a programme has
nished to remove glasses and dishes.
