WERKZEUGMASCHINEN Operating instructions
KKS 250 / 315 / 350 16/29
5.3 Cutting of machine stop
To stop the blade rotation during the machining just releases the control handgrip
(3 fig. 6). The machine can be stopped by selecting the “0” position on the speed
commutator (2 fig. 6) too.
5.4 Miter cut
It is possible to carry out miter cuts (max. 45° both rightward and leftwards). Ease off
the vice clamping lever (14 fig. 1), placed on the cutting off machine base, rotate the
head according to the required angle and subsequently fix the above mentioned
clamping lever.
This operation is to be carried out when the machine is switched of and not
energized.
The clamping lever must be firmly fixed to avoid head moving during the cutting
operations.
5.5 Vice unit
The vice is provided with quick clamping, whose shifting is of approx. 4 mm.
Therefore, by means of the especially intended handwheel (11 fig. 1) position the
vice jaws up to a distance of 2 mm; clamp now the piece to be cut by means of the
quick clamping lever (13 fig. 1)
Before carrying out the cutting make sure the piece has been firmly clamped into the
vice, to avoid its moving while the operation is being performed.
Shifting forward the vice units is needed to perform the max. allowed cutting. To shift
it just release the clamping lever (14 fig. 1), shift the unit forward and subsequently
reclamp the above lever.
Do not position other pieces to be cut upon the vice unit if the vice unit if the vice is
already clamping one.
