  The material might not spray or spray inefficiently because the material orifice is clogged or the material around the outside of the orifice has dried. To resolve this, try the following: * Soak the material orifice in solvent to loosen the clog. * Trigger the material orifice several times. * Remove the air cap and material orifice, clean the orifice using a bamboo or wooden toothpick, and then wipe off the air cap and orifice with a rag moistened with thinner. * Reassemble the orifice and screw the air cap tight.

  An intermittent spray can occur if the O-ring gets dry or worn out, the air stem bushing gets loose, or the material orifice is loosely installed (or there is dirt between the orifice and body). Here's how to address these issues: 1. Back up the gun and put a few drops of machine oil on the O-ring, or replace it with a new one. 2. Tighten the air stem bushing. 3. Take off the air cap and material orifice, clean any dirt, and reassemble the orifice, tightening the air cap.
