Using the auto-focus framing marks
Whenusingthe camerascreenasa viewfinder,framing marksindicatewhere
the cameraisfocusing.Forthe bestpossiblepictures,the cameraattemptsto
focusonforegroundsubjects,evenif the subjectsarenot centeredin the
scene.
NOTE:Thisproceduredoesnotapplytovideos.
1 Pressthe OKbutton to turn onthe camerascreen.
2 Pressthe Shutterbutton halfway and held.
Whentheframingmarksturn red,focusisaccomplished.
Whilethe shutter buttonis pressedhalfway:
I'1_I1 Centerfocus
I"I_ ] Centerwidefocus
[1_1] Sidefocus
marks [1_11_1] Centerandsidefocus
[_1][_11] Leftandrightfocus
3 Pressthe Shutterbutton the rest ef the way dewn to takethe picture.
4 Ifthe camerais not focusingonthe desiredsubject(orif the framingmarks
disappearandthe Readylight blinksred), releaseyourfinger,recompose
the scene,andgo to Step2.
