Extending battery life
Limitthe following activitiesthat quicklydepletebatterypower:
- Reviewingyour pictureson thecamerascreen(seepage24)
- Usingthecamerascreenasaviewfinder(seepage10)
- Excessiveuseoftheflash
Dirt onthebatterycontactscanaffectbatterylife.Wipethecontactswith a
clean,drycloth beforeloadingbatteriesin the camera.
Batteryperformanceisreducedattemperaturesbelow41° F(5° C).When
usingyourcamerain coldweather,carrysparebatteriesand keepthem
warm.Donot discardcoldbatteriesthat do not work; when they returnto
roomtemperature,theymaybe usable.
