Install the software
A]k CAUTION:
Install Kodak EasySharesoftware
before connectingthe camera or
optional dock to the computer.
Failureto do so may causethe
software to load incorrectly.
Closeall softwareapplicationsthat areopenon yourcomputer(including
anti-virussoftware).
2 Placethe KodakEasySharesoftwareCDinto the CD-ROMdrive.
3 Loadthe software:
Windows OS-basedcomputer--if the install window does not appear,
choose Run from the Start menu and type d:\setup.exe where d is the
drive letter that contains the CD.
MacOSx--double-click the CDiconon the desktop,then clickthe Install
icon.
4 Followthe on-screeninstructionsto installthe software.
WindowsOS-basedcomputer--selectTypicalto automaticallyinstallthe
mostcommonlyusedapplications.SelectCustomto choosethe
applicationsyouwishto install.
MacOSx--follow the on-screeninstructions.
NOTE:Whenprompted,takeafewminutestoelectronicallyregisteryourcameraandsoftware.
Thisletsyoureceiveinformationregardingsoftwareupdatesandregisterssomeofthe
productsincludedwiththecamera.YoumustbeconnectedtoyourInternetservice
providertoregisterelectronically.Toregisterlater,see
www.kodak.com/go/register.
5 If prompted,restartthe computer.If youturnedoff anti-virussoftware,
turnit backon. Seethe anti-virussoftwaremanualfor details.
