Troubleshooting
Computer/connectivity problems
Battery life is short ■ Make sure the correct battery type is installed (see page 61).
■ Wipe the conta cts with a clean, dry cloth before in serting a
battery in the camera.
■ Insert a new or charged battery (see pag e 1).
You cannot take a
pictu re
■ Turn the camera off, then on again.
■ Depress the Shutter button all the way (see page 5).
■ Insert a new or charged battery (see pag e 1).
■ Memory is full. Transfer pictures to the computer (see page 46),
delete pictures (see pa ge 15), or in sert ano th er c ard.
Error message appears
on LCD
■ Turn the camera off, then on again.
■ Remove the memory card.
■ Turn off the camera. Remove the battery. Wipe the contacts with
a clean , dry cloth.
■ Insert a new or charged battery.
■ If the problem still exists, get help (see page 55).
Memory card not
recog nized o r camera
freezes with card
■ Card may be co rr upted. Format th e card in the camer a ( see
page 37).

Cannot find th e
