The drive panel weighs approximately 25 kg (55 lb.). If it is being mounted on a
partition wall, it must be screwed either to wooden blocks inside the wall, or it must
be screwed to a small sheet of plywood that has been securely screwed into the
studs of the partition wall. Adequate space on both sides of the drive panel is
required to allow for cooling of the assembly through the panel louvers.
When selecting a location, consider the following:
• The drum vacuum drive must be mounted on an interior vertical wall or surface.
• The 7.6 m (25 ft.) long control cable must reach the output device.
• The 15.2 m (50 ft.) long power/control cable must reach the drum vacuum
pump.
• The customer-supplied branch circuit wiring must enter through the top.
• The ambient air temperature must not exceed 35
o
C (95
o
F).
