Camshaft
1. Release the snap ring that holds the camshaft in
the gear cover.
2. Using a driver, press out the camshaft. See
Figure 10-46.

Camshaft Gear
1. Remove the gear from the camshaft using a puller
or by pressing it off from the shaft. See
Figure 10-47.

Camshaft Bearing
1. Remove the camshaft’s ball bearing from inside of
the gear cover by using a socket pushed with a
hydraulic press. See Figure 10-48.
