Fuel Pump Module
1. Remove the three screws securing the fuel pump
module.
2. Li the grey locking tab and squeeze the tab to
disconnect the electrical connector. See Figure
8-14.

3. Disconnect the vent hose from the top of the fuel
pump module. See Figure 8-15.

4. Wrap a shop towel completely around the high
pressure fuel line connector.
5. Press the release bu on(s) and slowly pull the
connector away from the fuel pump module
allowing the shop towel to absorb any residual
fuel in the high pressure fuel line. Any spilled
fuel must be completely wiped up immediately.

NOTE: Figure 8-15 depicts removing the connector
without a shop towel wrapped around it for
instructional purposes only.

2. Disconnect the breather tube. See Figure 8-18.

6. Using a side cu er or similar tool, cut the Oetiker
Clamp o to remove the inlet fuel line. A new
Oetiker Clamp will need to be used for reinstall.

7. Remove three screws securing the Fuel Pump
Module Ba e which the pump was mounted to.
Remove Throttle Body
1. Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor. See
Figure 8-17.
