Reassembly

2. Install top mount control panel over thro le
control sha . Secure the control panel to the
blower housing with the two screws. See Figure
10-82.

3. Assemble the thro le control lever and applicable
hardware to the thro le control sha .
4. A ach governor spring to the previously marked
hole on the governor lever. See Figure 10-83.

Install Bottom Mount Control Panel (If So
Equipped)
1. Install the bo om control panel and the air
cleaner support bracket (if used) to the cylinder
heads using the four hex fl ange screws. Torque
the screws to 10.7 N·m (95 in. lb.) into new holes,
or 7.3 N·m (65 in. lb.) into used holes. See Figure
10-84.

2. Connect the governor spring from the thro le
control bracket to the previously marked hole in
the governor lever.
NOTE: To identify the various parts and assembly of
the thro le control panel, see Figure 10-85.
Install Throttle Control Panel
Assemble Top Mount Control Panel
1. Install the lower support control bracket with
thro le control sha . See Figure 10-81.
