ed to prepare the engine
for
stor
age.
1. Drain
oil
fr
om
cr
ankcase while engine
is
still
hot and
flush
with
clean, l ight oi l .
Refill
crankcase.
2. Drain
fuel
tank and carburet o
r,
or
use a
fuel
stabi
li
zer
in
the
gaso
line
to prevent
gum
depos i ts
from developing
in
the
carburetor
and
fuel
lines.
3. Clean
exterior
surfaces
of engine.
4. Spread a
light
film
of
oil
over any exposed metal
sur
faces
of
en
gin
e
that
are
subject
to
cor-
rosion.
5. Pour tablespoon
of
oil
into
spark plug
hole,
cr
ank en
gin
e slowly by hand (2 - 3
revoluti
ons)
and
replace
spark
plugs.
6. Store
in
clean,
dry
place.
